Following last year's acclaimed festival, Planet Leeds (www.planetleeds.org.uk) is hitting the high street again this summer. For one weekend in September (date to be finalised: watch this space...), Briggate will be once again brought alive with the rhythms and sounds of the city...
Previous years have featured a dazzling range of talent: Irish dancers, Russian rockers, Iranian guitarists, Chapeltown rappers, Zimbabwean and Congolese drummers, Scottish celtic goth music, Turkish-Israeli-Spanish-Yorkshire soul, and great music from every corner of Leeds... Want to GET INVOLVED? Email us and we'll keep you posted, or fill out the form below. Auditions are due in July. As well as the Briggate event, Planet Leeds 2010 is also likely to feature themed events around the city and into the autumn.
