Planet Leeds (www.planetleeds.org.uk) is a free street festival in Leeds, for people to experience the wealth and breadth of music, performance and culture that we have in our city.
June 2009 saw Planet Leeds hitting Briggate and Brewery Wharf over a weekend, with dozens of amazing and diverse performers bringing the city centre alive. Click here to find out more, or here for photos.
Planet Leeds has now featured a dazzling range of talent: Irish dancers, Russian rockers, Iranian guitarists, Chapeltown rappers, Zimbabwean and Congolese drummers, Scottish celtic goth music, Turkish-Israeli-Spanish-Yorkshire soul, and great music from every corner of Leeds.
