Peace
Jam

Peace Jam is a youth movement and education programme for young people aged 13-18, led by Nobel Peace Prize winners including Desmond Tutu. It seeks to tap into young people’s innate sense of justice and inspire them to become a new generation of peace-makers and active global citizens.

Participants learn practical skills to choose non-violent solutions to problems they encounter in their own lives, schools, communities and in the world. For further info or to get involved, please contact us. There are annual UK weekend events hosted at Bradford University (photos here), as well as international gatherings: click here for stories and photos from our 2008 trip to Los Angeles with 40+ young people from 6 Leeds schools.
