Planet Leeds (www.planetleeds.org.uk) has been bringing great free music to Leeds’ streets since 2007, drawing on the amazing mix of talents we have in the city.

July 2011 saw another memorable festival (our fourth), with stages on both Briggate and Dortmund Square. New for this year, we were part of the Olympic Open weekend - and we plan to link with the Olympic celebrations in 2012 too.

Many thanks to all those who participated this year – especially the volunteer event coordinators, and all the fantastic performers. Thanks also to arts@leeds and the Leeds Met fundraiser gig team, for each helping to fund this year’s festival.
