Married with 2 young daughters, I’ve lived in Leeds for the past 16 years. My journey so far has taken me from riling against multi-national corporations as a campaigner for Baby Milk Action, through attempting to challenge unjust trade policies and change arms export legislation with Oxfam, to seeking to understand the psycho/social and spiritual dynamics of peacemaking in the setting up of Peace School.
From the outward fight to the inner battle, I’ve come to understand activism as the working towards a world of wholeness where everything and everyone is understood as inter-connected. Alongside looking after my children, I currently work in a development role for Leeds Christian Community Trust. When I find time, I love to dabble at art and go off on random outdoor adventures.
