Kamran Rashid


Kamran is a qualified JNC youth worker with 18 years’ experience of working with young people locally, nationally and internationally. He set up Leeds Muslim Youth Forum after the July 7th attacks in London 2005 and in 2008 established a national advisory group of young Muslims for Rt Hon Ed Balls and Hazel Blears. He has a particular interest in engaging with groups that are traditionally under-served through mainstream services and empowering them to have their voices heard. Kamran is a fellow of the RSA, a Common Purpose graduate and holds a Masters from Bradford Peace Studies Department.
