Peace Jam is an international youth movement and education programme for young people aged 13-18, led by Nobel Peace Prize winners.

It seeks to tap into young people’s innate sense of justice and inspire them to become a new generation of peace-makers and active global citizens. Participants learn practical skills to choose non-violent solutions to problems they encounter in their own lives, schools, communities and in the world.

We were involved in Peace Jam in Leeds over a number of years, before putting our energy elsewhere.  But click: Los Angeles for stories and photos from our 2008 trip to Los Angeles with 40+ young people from six Leeds schools.
